Information for former and current Dialog employees – cyber security incident

The Dialog Group (Dialog) advises it has recently experienced a cyber security incident in which an unauthorised third party appears to have accessed employee data.

Dialog has notified the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and the Australian Cyber Security Centre of the incident and is supporting those who may be impacted to protect against the risk of fraudulent activity.

On Friday 7 October 2022 we became aware that a small sample of Dialog’s data, including corporate data was published on the Dark Web. The corporate data includes a few PDF files relating to one of Dialog’s key senior managers. We are not aware of any other exposure of employee Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

But we are concerned that at any time additional data could be published online, and as such our cyber forensics team continue to monitor for any such activity. If personal details are detected affected individuals will be notified immediately.

We are doing our utmost to address the situation and are actively sharing information and advice with our employees and customers.

As a former Dialog Group company employee please contact us as soon as possible on dialogit@dialog.com.au about this cyber security incident, so we can brief you on any steps you may need to take as a precaution.

Dialog sincerely apologises for the concern and inconvenience this may cause you.
